Very overhyped place, therefore really crowded. Which makes the prices rise as well, but that’s typical in Ibiza I would say. Nonetheless, the staff tried to find a spot without me having a reservation and it was also a quite okay one. The food and drinks were good, the atmosphere okay, although it was full of influencer tourists and loud families. All in all it‘s a very nice place if you like this kind of environment.
This restaurant is worth visiting for the ambiance and breathtaking views alone. It’s easily one of the most scenic spots in Ibiza, and the sunset here is truly unforgettable. That said, the food itself is fairly average, with limited options for vegetarians, which feels like a missed opportunity given the setting. In the past, evenings would turn into a party, but due to new local noise restrictions (and maybe influence from the mega clubs), the vibe has shifted. After 10 pm guests are now given headphones for a “silent disco”, which is a fun idea, but it doesn’t quite capture the energy and atmosphere the venue was once known for.
So three things 1. The vibe has been killed, bad music to sit in a hotel lobby to. You can’t charge this much and give so little vibe! Not worth it anymore! 2. Food is still ok, not life changing but ok 3. I got ripped off in the shop, the assistant said “ohh we’ve miraculously increased our hand written prices by €11” which I accepted but come on, utter BS!
Sunset Ashram is an Ibiza classic and a must-visit every time we’re on the island. Set in a stunning, secluded location with beautiful beaches on either side, it offers everything you could want for a perfect day or evening out. There’s a fantastic restaurant and bar, a very Ibiza clothing shop, and always a great vibe with well-curated music. The food consistently impresses, especially the sushi, which is incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The service is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The sunsets here are simply unforgettable, painting the sky in breathtaking colors as you dine or relax with a drink. Whether you’re planning a romantic evening or a lively dinner with friends and family, Sunset Ashram delivers every time. It’s one of those places that becomes a staple in your itinerary, and for us, it truly is.
Sunset Ashram in Ibiza is all about the location — it truly doesn’t get much better. Set right on the beach with panoramic sea views, it’s the kind of place where you instantly relax as soon as you arrive. There’s also a small shop on-site with beachy, bohemian items, which is a nice touch if you want to browse while you wait for your table. The food itself is okay, nothing extraordinary, but it does the job if you’re there mainly for the atmosphere. The real highlight, of course, is the sunset. Even if the meal doesn’t blow you away, the view alone makes the experience unforgettable.
