I think this is THE best place for food and drinks in Ibiza. The whole staff team working are amazing people. Helpful and attentive, all there to have an enjoyable time. The menu is diverse with all fresh options. The olive oil!!!! We should have taken the bottle home. And ofcourse the place itself… WAUW. Be sure to dress up, because you want to take photos!!! (Also be sure to check the little shop, it’s got some amazing pieces with even more interesting stories).
Where do I even start? La Paloma seems to be a place where many tourists come for Instagram-worthy photos. We however came to celebrate my birthday with my partner and my in-laws, who live on the island. The food was genuinely good and the setting is beautiful, which makes what happened even more disappointing. When ordering wine, I asked for a bottle of Blanc de Blancs from the wine list. There were several options available, ranging from around €60 to well over €100. Since multiple wines matched that description, I naturally expected the staff to clarify which one I wanted. Instead, a bottle was brought to the table and briefly shown to me before being opened. As a guest who had only seen the wine list and not the bottles themselves, I had no way of knowing that this particular bottle cost €195. Only later did I realize I had been served a bottle that was more than three times the price I had intended to order. A simple clarification from the staff could have prevented an expensive misunderstanding. While I accept that mistakes can happen, I would expect a restaurant at this level to confirm such a significant purchase before opening and serving the bottle. It’s a real shame, because the food and atmosphere were excellent. Unfortunately, this experience left a sour taste and means we would hesitate to recommend the restaurant to friends or family.
La Paloma has been a staple on our Ibiza restaurant list for years. I remember visiting in the early days with my parents, and it’s only become cooler and better over time, all while maintaining the same delicious charm. The food is vibrant, fresh, and full of ingredients sourced from the surrounding gardens. Everything feels healthy, thoughtfully prepared, and made with genuine care. On this visit, we came for both lunch and dinner. I personally preferred the lunchtime menu with its Mediterranean-inspired dishes, but the Italian offerings in the evening were just as satisfying. As always, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
Beautiful restaurant in such a beautiful setting. Personally I feel the lunchtime a better choice of food as our first visit was through the day. The evening menu lacked something for me personally but what we had was beautiful - we still really enjoyed our time there. The evening meal just wasn't stand out unfortunately & wouldn't make it a must visit again like last time. I forgot to get photos of the main dishes xx
The place was really beautiful. We had dinner in the garden which was very cozy. The character of the restaurant is very cute through different plates and napkins. The service was very friendly and the appearance of the menu was special. Unfortunately there wasn’t a lot to pick from but we could alter to our liking. The food tasted very good. But it does not justice the price. You should definitely book a table as the place can get crowded especially in the evening.
