If you’re serious about seafood, Can Pujol is one of the best spots on the island. It’s right on the beach near Port des Torrent and has built a strong reputation over the years for doing fish properly. I’ve lived in Ibiza a long time and eaten all over, and this place is always up there when it comes to quality seafood. The menu is simple and focused. Fresh fish, cooked properly, full of flavour. If you don’t like seafood this isn’t for you, but if you do, it’s hard to beat. Prices are higher than average, but you can see why. The produce is top quality, the cooking is spot on, and the place still feels like old Ibiza. Nothing overcomplicated, just good food done right. Even the bread and alioli stand out. Some of the best you’ll get on the island. One of the most reliable seafood restaurants in Ibiza. Consistent, authentic, and worth it.
We were lucky to get the last table available! Amazing place for a restaurant to be, right by the water, with sunset views… food is delicious and authentic. We had scallops in a delicious garlic sauce. Paella was also delicious. Dessert we tried a traditional plate called Greixonera, it was lovely and sweet. Now, the only reason I give 4* for the service is because the bill took ages to come! Otherwise our waiter was great.
This place is very nice. The food is great. We got a table despite not having booked in advanced. However, we waited more than one hour to get our food. Some people came later than us and they started eating earlier, but we ate the very last. No explanation was given. It was very frustrating seeing how everyone got their dishes but us. The speciality is rice, we order grilled fish, it was fresh and good. Wine of the house and no starters or desserts. About 120 euros 2 people.
Local run fish taverna, 100% recommended We had the gillardeau oyster for starters and the the typical bullit d peix Would go back tomorrow if I could
It’s easy to see why locals love Can Pujol—this spot delivers authentic flavors, fair prices, and gorgeous sunset views. The paella was fabulous: rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor without the inflated price tag you often find in more touristy places. The only downside was the service. While the staff was friendly, it felt disorganized—we had to ask multiple times for basic things like water and the bill. It doesn’t seem to be a staffing issue (they had enough people on the floor), but more of a management and coordination problem. With better orchestration, this place could easily be a five-star experience. Still, for the food and setting alone, it’s worth the visit—and I’d happily return.
