Bar Costa is an absolute standout. Every single thing we tried was excellent, but the sobrasada bocadillos and the slices of vientre were on another level. It’s incredibly busy, even at the beginning of May, which says a lot. You have to be a bit patient, but it’s 100% worth it. The interior is also something special, the walls are covered with original art pieces that give the place a unique, almost chaotic charm. We liked it so much we ended up going twice during our trip, which rarely happens. Definitely one of the highlights.

A true Santa Gertrudis classic. I've been coming back here for years and it never disappoints. Bar Costa sits right along the village's walking route, so it's impossible to miss, and you absolutely shouldn't. It's a no-fuss spot specializing in bocadillos and a solid selection of tapas, with cold beers, wine, and spirits to match. The jamón is exceptional, and you'll know it the moment you walk in, dozens of legs hang from the ceiling, which is a sight in itself. There's also a larger room in the back filled with colorful Botero-style paintings that give the place a unique character. The quality for what you pay is honestly hard to beat on the island. If you're anywhere near Santa Gertrudis, this is a must stop.

A cool spot in the small town. Pack of people enjoying the outdoors. It’s all about sandwiches here… and good drinks.

I found this place randomly one time somewhere on social media a while back and I had to come visit. The sandwichs were tasty and filled with flavour. There is plenty of outdoor seating however the seats are not that comfortable but the good news is that the indoor area is just as beautiful and more comfortable.

A nice and charming place, though it gets very crowded if you want to sit outside. The waiter takes a while to come, but overall it’s an interesting spot and worth visiting.
