We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant at Kendwa Hotel. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was excellent throughout our visit. We would especially like to thank Pendo for her outstanding service. She was always friendly, attentive, and professional, making us feel very welcome and ensuring that we had everything we needed. Her kindness and positive attitude made our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again in the future.
Amazing place Kendwa Rocks Beach is such a great spot perfect location, chill vibe and really tasty food. Everything was just right. Special thanks to Ibrahim, our waiter such a kind, friendly and positive person. He was super easy to talk to, took great care of us and honestly made our experience even better. He helped us with everything we wanted and did it with a smile the whole time. We’re very happy with our visit and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!
I had such a wonderful experience thanks to the three amazing waiters on the beach — two gentlemen and one lovely lady. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel truly welcome. Their positive energy, warm smiles, and professional attitude created the perfect relaxing atmosphere.
I can recommend this hotel in any way. The beach, the breakfast and dinner area, as well as our rooms were fantastic. Also the service was a 10/10, everyone was so nice all the time and the food was delicious.There is nothing more you can wish for. I hope to be back soon.
A week in paradise! I spent my workation at Kendwa Rocks because I knew they had the only proper coworking space on the island, and it did not disappoint. Strong wifi, meeting rooms, good coffee, AC, ocean views, and lovely staff. It’s open 24/7 and freely accessible to hotel guests. It wasn’t my first time in Zanzibar. I chose Kendwa Rocks because Kendwa is my favorite beach: you can swim at any time of the day, since it’s not tide dependent, in crystal clear turquoise water. I loved being able to jump into the ocean between meetings. I’d start my mornings at the ocean view gym, which I usually had all to myself, then head to breakfast for my proteins and vitamins: ginger shot, tuna gravlax, eggs and cheese, oat porridge, and tropical fruits... Special mention to the breakfast playlists for setting the perfect mood every morning :) I booked a standard room, super clean, comfortable, great water pressure, lovely balcony; I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. Overall, from check in to check out, the staff was helpful, smiling, professional, always eager to make your stay unforgettable, which it truly was ♥
