Nice people, good location. Its a few rooms above a cafe. View of the street thats a bit grotty,that is very loud all throughout the night. No TV. Bed and breakfast. But be careful what you order for breakfast. Because I was told only the fruit bowl was free. Although they slide a tempting menu in front. I stuck to the fruit. There is a lovely view while having your bowl of fruit
This has been my go-to spot in Stone Town for the last few days. It's calm, peaceful, and very budget-friendly compared to the more luxury restaurants nearby. The avocado toast with egg is amazing, and the staff is genuinely kind and welcoming. It's been the perfect, quiet place for me to sit and get some work done by the ocean. Highly recommend!
Overlooking the beach the Archipelago Cafe is a great spot to watch the sunset and local folk at the end of the day playing volleyball or soccer along the waterfront. We ordered the avocado salad, octopus curry and cobia fish dishes with vegetables. All were very good and tasty. It’s especially nice to get fresh vegetables when traveling. The stick date pudding and marsala tea were also very good.
If you only eat at one place in Stone Town, make it this one! The most beautiful view of the beach and sea, a really relaxed atmosphere, delicious fresh and healthy food and excellent service. Recommend the BBQ copia fish. Just go!
Went there for breakfast very early. The espresso machine was broken so they offered us an even nicer coffee! Fair prices, good food and friendly service- definitely recommend!
