Blues Alley is hands down my favorite live music venue in the district. Not only is the venue historic, the intimacy of the space lends for each performance that I’ve attended being special for the guests that I’ve had accompany me. Pro tip, arrive early to select a great seat. Drums are set up on the right side of the stage and can become eardrum piercing loud if you make the same mistake that I did my first show and sit too close in an attempt to get close to the stage at the only available table. Service is always exceptional with everyone from hosts to servers ensuring that everything is ok from start to finish. The food that I’ve had has ranged from average to just ok which has been fine as I usually schedule have dinner close by before or after a show. If you’ve been questioning checking out Blues Alley, do it! It’s worthwhile and a wonderful experience! If you’re driving, there are parking garages close by.

Totally awesome experience! Kim Waters & band just fab! He even intro’ed his daughter, Kaylah. They jammed together! Love the throwback “Speak Easy” type vibe! Will def return!

Had such an amazing time here. The drinks were amazing. The banana pudding was so good as well! The performance was out of this world. Make sure to get there early so you can get a good seat!

Had to do a drive by of this amazing landmark after it's recognition of 60 yrs for hosting amazing music and more in the DMV area. Did a quick tour of Georgetown to include Duke Ellington School of the Arts (my old HS), as a lot of my peers have performed at Blues Alley. I will be getting tickets for an upcoming performance!

My reason for this travel was to see Alex Bugnon. This was my first time visiting this club and I really enjoyed myself! The food was delicious but the atmosphere was so tight. This made it unbearable at times but the performance was lit 🔥 and service was okay 👌
