Got taken here for my Bday this past weekend, it's my second time and wow it's just as great as the first time. Service was phenomenal and Lamb amazing. I enjoyed each dish. A wonderful experience. My Partner has a nut allergy and they accommodated so well for him. Our server walked us through the menu and ensured each dish was safe for him to eat.

I’ve dined at Albi four times over the past three years, and every visit has been exceptional. The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is always warm and on point. As someone who doesn’t eat pork or red meat, I’m always drawn to their seafood dishes, and they never disappoint. The trout tonight was excellent, and on past visits the branzino was absolutely incredible. The octopus is another standout and easily one of my favorites on the menu. You really can’t go wrong with the hummus, it’s a must every time. And don’t skip the batata harra! I also love their wine selection. We make it a point to try a Lebanese wine each visit, and it’s always a great complement to the meal. Albi is easily one of my favorite spots in DC!

Fabulous dinner at Albi. Came here to celebrate a birthday and had an excellent experience. From the hostess, to the waiter, to the sommelier, the customer service was top notch and on par of what you expect from a Michelin star restaurant. We ordered quite a few dishes and everything was well executed and tasty. Didn't try one bad dish. My personal favorites were the oysters and the stuffed cabbage with beef cheek (picture doesn't look like much but it was amazing). The kibbeh naya was a unique dish for us...similar to beef tartare but not quite the same. The lamb kebab was delightful and probably my biggest recommendation for entrees. We also got a bottle of a red Palestinian wine. Woowwww blew us away and not something you can find everywhere. We also got Negroni's and they were excellent. We are a bit of Negroni snobs and always try one at every bar or restaurant we go to if they have it. This one was one of the better ones we've had in awhile. For dessert the knafeh is as good as they say. Snag a reservation and enjoy with friends and family or go treat yourself to a solo dinner. You won't be disappointed! The inside of the restaurant is breathtaking and I love the open kitchen concept.

If this isn’t one of the best meals you’ve ever eaten then you may need to re-evaluate your life. We sat at the hearth table, so we undoubtedly got more food and attention; however, every single bite was delicious and every staff member was incredibly attentive and dedicated to our experience. This is not your average tasting menu—the portions are generous and satiating. The unique cocktails were also incredible. They even gave us some bites and Palestinian olive oil to go. I’ve eaten at several renowned Michelin star restaurants but I’ve got to say this was probably the most fun and satisfying.

After a long wait, I finally secured a reservation at Albi DC, and I was genuinely excited to try it given all the awards and glowing reviews. The restaurant itself has a warm, modern atmosphere that makes a great first impression. I opted for the chef’s tasting menu, which consisted of five courses and was a generous amount of food. Albi also offers an extensive wine list and cocktail menu. I chose the wine pairing, which included four different wines from the West Bank and Lebanon—an interesting and well-curated selection. I also tried several types of arak, which were intense, bold, and quite impressive. Unfortunately, the food itself was a major letdown. From start to finish, the dishes were overwhelmingly salty and lacked distinct or memorable flavors. To make matters worse, the service fell short. The staff did not do a good job explaining the dishes or guiding how they should be enjoyed, and I felt they were too busy to provide proper attention. Overall, the experience was mixed and did not live up to the hype surrounding the restaurant.
