The Viennese Tafelspitz is truly a special dish. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the presentation, and the service—the staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. Honestly, the soup was a bit too salty for my taste, but still good. The meat came with two sauces, horseradish and some kind of onion sauce, along with fried potatoes. There wasn't much bone marrow in the bones, but it was enough for a little taste
We came to try the Tafelspitz- our first experience. Location perfect. Atmosfere was very good. Service amazing. The staff - especially Mr.Cuta was very profesional. He explained everything, recommended the size of portion and side dishes. We surely come back as we love Plachuta.
A very popular restaurant that has been visited by many celebrities. Photos of them line the walls leading to the bathrooms. I definitely recommend booking in advance. The service is friendly, and the broth stew is their most popular dish. We tried the beef version, which was quite refreshing, and the shrimp were well prepared. The beef soup comes with rice and potatoes on the side. Overall, the flavors are very good—highly recommended 👍
This classic Vienna meal is a must have. Rich in history and flavor, the Tafelspitz is a hearty beef soup taken with bone marrow, toast, and veggies with a side of horseradish applesauce and boiled spinach. It was our first time having Tafelspitz and it absolutely blew us away. On top of that, the service was attentive and friendly. We will certainly be back next time we find ourselves in Vienna!
We had a nice experience trying some of the offered dishes. The tafelspitz dish included a delicious broth, a bit of bone marrow & beef - size could easily feed two people. The Angus beef steak was delicious.
