Another one ticked off the bucket list. The music hall exceeded my expectation. We enjoyed a few pieces of Mozart to begin with and then complete Four Seasons for the second half. The acoustics is excellent and performance is top notch. Class 3 seat is perfectly good for me.
What a magnificently beautiful place! The staff was very overwhelmed and unhelpful at first as to how we were supposed to get our tickets. It’s not very well guided. Ultimately someone was willing to help us and it got sorted. Inside the concert room, it was pure chaos. People sat in the wrong seats everywhere and couldn’t grasp the concept of 1-7 left 8 7-1 right. The poor chap that had to get everyone seated was friendly, flustered and sweating by the time the concert started. I hope this isn’t on a daily basis because if it is, provide someone to guide people to the seats. It was a nightmare. The concert itself was pleasant and the experience was very good! I really enjoyed it immensely!
We saw the Wiener Mozart Konzert at the Goldener Saal (golden hall) of the Musikverein Wien. It was great with classic Mozart orchestral songs and opera singers in period costumes. Seeing them & hearing everything in the original settings in the original music hall of Vienna really puts you in the frame of the explosion of the classical music scene of the late 1700’s
Beautiful concert hall and one of the world’s most famous. It opened January 6 1870. What an unforgettable experience. I purchased tickets for the Golden Hall in the Superior Orchestra section, and when we picked up the tickets we were upgraded. That was a nice surprise. The view was absolutely perfect. It was an incredible evening from start to finish. The acoustics were phenomenal, and the entire performance was breathtaking. The solo violinist and the female opera singer were true standouts. Their performances felt like pure magic and were among the highlights of the night. The Vienna Mozart Orchestra appeared in beautiful 18th-century period costumes, bringing the music and atmosphere of Mozart’s era vividly to life. A truly unforgettable experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Vienna.
I’m deeply grateful to be here. The beauty of the setting and the healing music seemed to wash everything heavy away. From my seat, high above with a perfect view of the stage, I felt completely immersed. This is why music matters. It has the power to renew us — to make both our body and mind feel stronger, clearer, and quietly powerful again. Thank you❤️🤓
