I did not make any reservations but the staff worked around to give me a table for one, great service! Ordered a Viennese Schnitzel and a pint of draft beer, a good start on my first night in Vienna.

Cute and cozy environment, great atmosphere. Extensive wine list and server recommended good local wines. Food tastes are so-so. We ordered Beef boil and schnitzel, soup and vanilla cream dessert. nothing tastes amazing.

We had made a reservation for dinner at 5.15 pm, but our earlier activities ended sooner than expected. We arrived at the restaurant around 4.15 pm and asked if there were any available tables. Fortunately, we were seated without any issue. We proceeded to place our order and chose the Viennese schnitzel, paired with the recommended wine, along with a selection of boiled organic prime beef and a pint of beer. The food was served promptly, and the portions were generous. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the schnitzel. The beef was slightly dry, as it was cooked well done. The service was attentive, and bread was provided at the table. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I would be happy to return to try other dishes on the menu.

A lovely experience for some real Vienna food. High recommend the original schnitzel. It was so delightful with the accompanying sauce. Great service was quality recommendations as well.

If you’re a tourist without a reservation, there’s a high chance you’ll be seated at a shared table, which makes the dining experience feel more like eating in a canteen than in a proper restaurant. As for the food, we ordered the one dish you’d typically expect here, the Wiener schnitzel. As you can see in the photo, the coating was falling off the meat, which was already stiff and chewy, to the point that I couldn’t finish it. At €34 per piece, I would definitely call this place a tourist trap and would not recommend it. We had schnitzel the day before at another restaurant where it was tender, thin, and soft, so we can confidently say this one was disappointing, to say the least.
