I've spent an okayish concert evening here. There’s a cloakroom for €2, drinks are cheap and the staff was friendly. The downside was that when the place was full (as it was that night), it became very hard to move, people were pressed against each other, and it felt like being in a sauna. The venue quickly felt too small. At some moments, the sound wasn’t good at all, we could barely hear the singer. I don’t know if that was due to the sound engineer’s settings or an issue with the venue itself.
Super punky venue in Vienna that I wanna visit again. (I am extremely biased bcs there were THE amazing Joker out so)... Beverages not too expensive, toilets cool.
Went there to see The Rumjacks and it was great. The sound, the lights the ambiente. Everything sure is a place I would love to play.
We went to a metalcore concert - smallest venue I've ever been to, but the athmosphere was amazing, bartenders are very kind :)
The food was fabulous. We had a latke, tuna carpaccio, halibut and a ceasar salad with cocktails and wine. The space is very nice with changing digital projections on the walls and ceiling. Our server, Hannah was excellent, and we were welcomed by Cania. This was their 3rd week in business, but you'd never know. They were organized efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend Rascal for modern European cuisine.
