We had an amazing evening at Venice Jazz Club. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was fantastic—we were quickly shown to our table and able to order food and drinks straight away. The venue itself is lovely, with a great atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the night. The performers were excellent, and we especially enjoyed the guest appearance by Peter Cornell on saxophone—such a treat! The night finished fairly early, but that’s quite normal for March in Venice, with many bars and restaurants closing by around 10pm. It wasn’t an issue for us at all—we had a brilliant time. To top it off, the walk back to our accommodation in a different district turned into a bit of an adventure, which made the evening even more memorable. Highly recommended for great music and a wonderful atmosphere!
We were lucky to get seated as we forgot to reserve a table in time but due to a no-show we were able to get a table. The host (also the pianist) was very kind to us. The music was amazing and we were very lucky to have a special guest (Pete from California) playing the saxophone. The atmosphere was great and we found it priced very reasonably for the quality of the experience. Would highly recommend.
My wife and I went to the only jazz club in Venice, appropriately called Venice Jazz Club. The club owner, host, waiter, cashier, drink mixologist, standup comedian, and the jazz band piano player, Federico, was amazing! The jazz quartet was awesome and they played a lot of standards (Monk, Miles, Duke, Brubeck) some Latin, and some originals. Absolutely lovely ambiance and vibes.
It was 25euro per person for tickets and we made a reservation in advance. I typically go to Jazz clubs whenever I travel and this one had a really amazing pianist! The owner which is also the man that takes the orders before the performance, the pianist for the performance and clears some of the cups/tables during the short break is humorous and very talented. It honestly felt like he was one with the piano! Enjoyed my time there and appreciated the on the fly integration of under the sea for the last piece of the night! Would also recommend inviting a singer on board as well but still a great performance regardless!
Visited for the Latin Jazz Night on Thu 27 Feb. The service was excellent, the vibe was spot on and the music was great, all 4 guys were very talented. I'd definitely visit again if I returned to venice. Definitely reccommend!
