An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Due to a flight disruption, we were worried about missing our reservation, but the team was incredibly helpful and responsive. They kindly accommodated our delay and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were exceptionally professional, attentive, and friendly. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and exceeded our expectations. The setting and views were simply breathtaking, making the entire experience even more special. Thank you to the whole team for your outstanding hospitality. We had a fantastic afternoon and created wonderful memories. We would highly recommend The Gritti Terrace to anyone visiting Venice and look forward to returning in the future.

From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. A special thank you to Geraldine for going above and beyond to make our stay so memorable, and to Gianmarco, Antonella, and Alessandro for their kindness throughout. Highlights included breakfast by the water, drinks at the bar, and simply soaking in the atmosphere of such a beautiful and iconic space. The room was elegant, the bed very comfortable, and every detail felt thoughtfully curated. Even if you’re not staying overnight, it’s worth visiting for a drink. Truly a special experience—highly recommend.
We had an amazing experience. The hotel is expensive, but it’s worth it. The staff is incredible, we were treated like family over Christmas. It was so special, this is a great place to go with family. Here’s a story that shows the level of service - I called to ask about getting a steamer for the room and help cleaning up a glass that I broke, we mentioned off hand that our hotel phone kept getting line busy, within 3 minutes, they had an engineer fixing the phone, someone had come to sweep the glass, and we had an ice bucket. Party in our room!! We did Christmas in the rooms so special. We also indulged In breakfast which is amazing, better than the Il San Pietro Positano which we thought couldn’t be beat. Great food, there was Prosecco, so many foods, so many smoked meats, it was the best of everything. I miss it already! So much more charm and warmth than the Aman. Really, I love this hotel. Thank you thank you thank you Gritti palace staff!!
Hospitality at its best. Breakfast one of a kind and one of the reasons why one might be back to Venice. Definitely if possible and I come to Venice I will stay there again. Location perfect. Accessibility perfect. Rooms nice and spacious, at least ours. Thanks to every one of the staff. They gave honest recommendations at the reception and we received perfect friendly service. And special thanks to the breakfast staff.
