Excellent service, a variety of cocktails and beer. The best thing about this bar is the view. Fantastic sunsets and a great view of Venice. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a great time.

The sunset was lovely from the top but you do pay the price to go. It is worth doing 1 or 2 drinks and seeing the view. The vaporetto you can get is a 4.1 or 2 and then a short walk. Make sure you time it well. You can look up sunset times on the internet and book for then. The staff were a little slow at service but were quite busy. They were however extremely polite and friendly. The view from the sunset bar overlooks the sea but the bar on the other side looks over more of the city. Ask for a high table at the front as the seats at the back are lower.

Got the waterbus via line 2. 5 min walk. For hotel stayers, they charge €15 for unlimited use of their own waterbus. View was disappointing in February. They had their glass windows up which created reflections from the inside and you couldn't see much. Venice isn't actually well lit anyway. We ordered 3 items from the menu. The cheeseboard had poor quality cheese. Very dry. The bread sticks were also very dry. All encouraging you to drink more. We also ordered ciccheti. Rubbish. It looked nothing their their advertised picture. They don't tell you what is going to be given. Drinks. Massive ice cube in the cocktail with not a lot of drink. They did taste nice though. Overall, very poor experience. Very pricey.

A totally stunning view at sunset completely blew my wife away. The waitress asked if we had a reservation when we arrived and as we didn't, she asked us to wait and have drink until an outside table became available. We waited an hour before asking again to find out that we had been forgotten. My bottle of IPA arrived in a frozen glass. I would have expected staff at the Hilton to know the correct temperature to serve each drink. From a personal view we also found the modern piped music too loud, but I understand that many will like this.

Came here for a birthday, all the staff were so friendly and attentive. They gave us a complimentary glass of Prosecco, and the Aperols were also really good. They gave us a choice of sitting facing the sunset or the city, we went for the sunset view. Would defo recommend!
