Elegant palazzo of Venice's former ruler, now open to visitors to tour art & furniture-filled rooms.via Google

An exceptionally rare Renaissance-style Venetian palace, famous for its Tribuna room which once housed a legendary collection of classical sculptures.

Good to know
€; highly underrated and rarely crowded; allow 1 hour.

Spent about two hours here, the palace is absolutely beautiful and it is amazing to see the casts (and some originals) in the true Grimani setting. Stunning ceilings, amazing marble work, some questionable antiquarian choices (a sarcophagus above a door lintel or sculptures put atop cinerary urns). A massive thanks to the very enthusiastic and helpful staff member who I met in a few different rooms while I was there. Love the Caracalla collection :)

First time in this museum after passing it by for many years. This is a hidden gem of a museum which probably gets overlooked as it's a bit off the beaten track Definitely worth a visit. I virtually had the place to myself to explore which was great. The final sculpture room is definitely a good way to end the tour as the route around the museum leads up to this room and though not big it is impressive

This Palazzo is less well kown but is worth visiting. Its hidden in the maze of the Venecian narrow alleys. Inside you see numerous rooms in particulsr in the first floor with very beautiful ceilings in particular. It was the residence of a couple of Doges.

A hidden gem! Tucked away in one of Venice's buzzing alleys, Palazzo Grimani is an absolute treasure. I arrived shortly after it opened at 10 a.m. and the palace was almost empty. The way the morning light filled the hall through the large windows was magical. Had never seen a sculpture room like this and loved the Cabinet of Wonders exhibition. Such a peaceful experience amid the city’s vibrant energy. Def one of the highlights of my trip!

Beautiful architecture, a very welcome contrast from heavy baroque palace interiors. The best thing I saw in Venice
