Absolutely exquisite food and wonderful hospitality. You MUST get the pumpkin flan and pumpkin in saor. Both will change your life and are experiences worth repeating if possible. It’s very cute inside too which is a bonus. I’d recommend booking as it’s a small restaurant and very popular. No fish on the menu that I could see but plenty of vegetarian options and a couple of meat dishes too. My friend had a wild garlic pesto pasta and said it was the best pasta she had during our whole trip to Venice. The chilli and garlic broccoli is nice too.
The waiters were a bit stressed, and were not quite attentive, however they were very nice and accommodating once their attention turned to us. The starters and sides were very good, everything with aubergine was great! I had the rabbit, which was slightly overcooked, but still good. The ossobucco was not great, but also not too bad. Especially if you have vegetarian/vegan people in your group. All in all decent experience!
Place was really good. Highly recommended. Pork ribs were amazing and the pasta with a gorgonzola cream and pears was to die for. I would do a later res so crowds die down if your eating outside and you can chill and drink
Deceptively spacious, with both a long interior corridor with tables and a terrace area close to a canal. Food was overall good, service was normal. I like my soup/cream. Not overly expensive
I tried the Pumpkin and Mushroom Lasagna, Flan di Zucca, and Aperol. The lasagna was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. I personally didn’t enjoy the Flan di Zucca that much, and the Aperol was a bit too bitter for my taste. The atmosphere is very cozy and beautiful, with a great vibe overall. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. It’s an excellent choice for vegetarians, with plenty of interesting options on the menu. Would definitely recommend it, especially for the ambiance and the lasagna
