I had an excellent experience with my group at Osteria Anice Stellato. We were a group of 5 with a reservation and were seated immediately (I do recommend having a reservation for groups larger than 2). We went with the chef’s menu and had an exquisite meal of 3 courses and wine pairings. I deeply appreciated restaurant’s mission to use local, fresh, and sustainable ingredients. The staff were friendly and explained each course and wine pairing in detail. I would highly suggest this restaurant for anyone looking for a special meal in Venice. Grazie mille!
This was truly the highlight of my dining experience in Venice. I cannot recommend Anice Stellato highly enough. The food was exceptional, each dish was creative, beautifully presented, and genuinely inspiring. It’s rare to find a menu that feels both simple and refined while still offering such originality. The location is another standout feature. In a city that can often feel overcrowded and overly touristy, this restaurant is a peaceful haven. The setting is tranquil, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, making it a welcome escape from the busy center of Venice. The staff were equally impressive, friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a high-quality, tasteful dining experience with a creative yet unpretentious menu, this place is an absolute must-visit.
One of our top selections for places to visit when im Venice. This place takes excellent care for catering to their clients. The atmosphere is great, the food is well above par in comparison to other restaurants and the service is simply excellent. If you want a culinary experience pick the 9-course dish sharing and enjoy tastes that you've probably haven't enjoyed before. And above the great food and the excellent atmosphere, the service... The service received we in this place was hands down the best one we've experienced on the island. The waitress was exceedingly brilliant at everything she did. Highly recommended if you're on the island and are looking for an affordable place with awesome service and a great menu that stands apart from other restaurants.
Just a short couple of minutes walk from the busy center of Venice, resides this fantastic restaurant, it is just by the canal and those picturesque Venetian buildings on the sides, but less of the city's hustle. This is slow food cooked to perfection! Everything we have ordered was divine, and with food so incredible we could be happy with plain simple service, but perfection here is upon the service as well, they are helpful and resourceful even with those who don't eat everything, and with kids. Really simply perfect and a must-go if you appreciate superb food!
We visited this place on our first day in Venice and were genuinely impressed. The food was delicious and very well-prepared, and the waiter who served us was extremely kind and cheerful. Even though we tried only the lunch menu, which is smaller than the dinner one, everything was excellent. They also have an amazing selection of quality wines. It’s a pity we’re not staying longer, because we would definitely come back for the full dinner experience.
