As long-time clients of Cipriani, and having brought my son to the hotel every time we visit Venice, we were deeply disappointed by our recent experience and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this matter privately. For context, yesterday we were met with extreme hostility from both the pool bar manager and the security staff of the Dior event. The incident spoiled a family tradition that now spans three generations. We believe the hotel should seriously review the conduct and professionalism of its staff, as the treatment we received fell far below the standard we have come to expect from Cipriani. Given our experience, we do not intend to return while these individuals remain employed at the hotel.
This is my favorite hotel in Venice. And honestly, it’s impossible to put into words the feeling you get when you arrive there. It’s not just a hotel — it’s an atmosphere you fall in love with from the very first moment Everything here is simply perfect: the pool, the grounds, the relaxation areas, the rooms. No matter which room I’ve stayed in, everything has always been at the highest level. But my absolute favorites are the rooms with small balconies overlooking the garden… the fresh flowers, the greenery, the quiet. And it feels especially magical when it’s raining outside — it creates such a cozy, almost cinematic mood But my biggest love is their breakfasts. Honestly, you won’t find anything like this anywhere else in the world. And it’s not just about the food — it’s about the details. The tableware they use, the cups, the plates — everything is so elegant, refined, and thoughtfully curated that you find yourself enjoying every little moment. It’s one of those rare cases when even coffee tastes different And of course, having breakfast on the terrace with a view over Venice — it’s simply wow. One of those moments you wish you could relive again and again Another thing you truly feel here is the history of the place. For decades, the hotel has been chosen by iconic figures, actors, and artists. And that atmosphere still lingers — in the details, in the mood, in everything around you. Legends like Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Paul Newman, Brad Pitt have stayed here, and George Clooney even celebrated his wedding here You don’t come back here for the comfort — you come back for that special feeling you simply can’t find anywhere else 🤍
Hotel Cipriani is the definition of luxury and elegance in Venice. Located on Giudecca Island, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the Venetian Lagoon and St. Mark’s Square, while still providing a peaceful escape from the busy tourist areas.
It s like coming home to family. We really love this hotel and it s dog friendly. Our dog Charlie also enjoyed hotel second year. They always welcome us really warmly and food is amazing also rooms. I only recommend. Charlie+Karolina+Christopher 💕
