Today we got lunch at Dal Moro’s. Its a small restaurant with pasta in a box. Wow great food!!! I ordered the Chick’N’Cream and my wife ordered the Mortadella. Great big servings that I had a hard time finishing. There were about 40 people lined up to order the food which I found out wasn’t a busy day lol but the line moved super fast and I don’t think we spent more than 10 minutes there. If you want something quick and really good, I would recommend coming here. The service was fantastic and everybody working there were super nice.
It’s such a great concept, horrible execution. 16 euros for a pasta and a drink for takeaway?!?! Saying you make the best carbonara but the sauce tasted like it had milk in it, how do we order and get our pasta is 30 seconds when the penne was soft with no bite, so much guanciale is suspect to cover something up. I have so many questions. No place to sit or throw the box away, I’d go eat a proper plate of pasta indoor and vibe out - this is definitely not for me.
This pasta wasn’t perfect but it was tasty enough for the price and the portions were super large. The pasta itself was fresh and delicious. All of them were a bit too salty but the carbonara especially it was lowkey inedible after a few bites. My mortadella pistachio pasta was yummy and the other two were also nice. Personally, I did not like the tiramisu at all but my friends did. Service was cheerful, quick and efficient even with the long queues!
The pasta is fresh, and you can choose your own combination of sauces and ingredients, which makes the experience really fun and unique. The staff was friendly and the service was fast, even though it was quite busy. A perfect spot for a quick but high-quality meal in Venice. The portions are good and the prices are reasonable for the area. I would definitely recommend it!
In that narrow alley like from Harry Potter you would definitely not expect a gourmet experience. But you will be pleasantly surprised! No matter what kind of pasta you have, no matter how flavored, they will impress you. The ideal thing is to taste each other - we had 4 different types and they all tasted great. I highly recommend it! Oh - and the only negative thing: there is usually a long queue at lunchtime.
