Delicious. Perfect cicchetti. Fresh and tasty. These are venetian open mini sandwiches. Wines by the glass, the chianti was superb. This is very affordable and fun as a lunch quick lunch standing up inside. Lots of variety of cicchetti toppings. Quick and efficient service. Highly recommend a visit.
The best Cichetti in town! The cheapest price with highest quality and many varieties. Just 1.60€ My personal favourite, as you can see on the photos, the one with shrimp. Exceptional. It called Gamberi Carciofo Tartufo.
Wonderful wines the best snacks in Venice a must visit. They also are a wine store with incredible Italian wines that we dont get here in the United States. Chianti small bites similar to Tapas mostly feature fresh seafood little open faced sandwiches.. creamed salted cod a must try, calamari, clams, vegan selections abound , cheeses lots of olives. Do not miss a visit you'll find them all over Venice.
Cantina del Vino già Schiavi – Vini al Bottegon absolutely lives up to its reputation and is not to be missed in Venice. The chichetti are outstanding—simple, flavorful, and perfect when paired with a glass of wine, a spritz, or even a latte at the counter. It’s the kind of place that captures the true Venetian bacaro experience: lively, authentic, and effortlessly enjoyable. Whether you stop in for a quick bite or linger over a few rounds, the atmosphere and quality make it unforgettable. A must-visit spot for anyone wanting to experience chichetti the way locals do.
I originally wanted to enjoy my first cicchetti outside by the canal, but the local seagulls had other plans and stole them! I guess even they have great taste. I went back in to get new ones and enjoyed them safely inside this time. Their homemade wine was also excellent—highly recommended!
