St Mark’s Campanile in Venice offers one of the best panoramic views of the city. The lift takes you quickly to the top, making it easy for everyone to enjoy. From above you can see the canals, rooftops and lagoon in every direction. It is absolutely worth the ticket and a must-see attraction in Venice. Highly recommended for visitors indeed.

Venice at ground level is chaos. Beautiful chaos, but still chaos. Narrow alleys, wrong turns, crowds that move like slow tides. Then you go up. The Campanile is as straightforward as it gets. No hidden charm, no mystery. You book online, you pay your 15 euros, you queue, and for a second you wonder if it’s just another well-packaged tourist move. Then the doors close, the elevator rises, and Venice rewrites itself. At the top, everything makes sense. A full 360 view. Terracotta rooftops stretching endlessly, canals slicing through the city like veins, the lagoon opening wide in the distance. The chaos disappears. The city becomes geometry, light, water, silence. You see San Marco from above, no longer something you fight through, but something you finally understand. Islands scattered across the horizon. Boats moving slowly, purposefully. Venice breathing instead of suffocating. Is it expensive? A bit. Is it a one-time thing? Probably. But some perspectives are worth paying for. Because up there, Venice stops being a maze. And becomes a masterpiece. 🐺

Simple experience, spectacular views. It offers panoramic views across Venice, the lagoon and out towards the islands - and because it stands alone in the square, you get clear sightlines in every direction. Helpful signs on each side point out key landmarks, and the safety barrier is unobtrusive enough to still get good photos. Access is by lift (no stairs), which makes it quick and easy. We pre-booked, though the actual visit at the top is fairly short - we comfortably took it in within 10 minutes, plus a few extra minutes for the lift up and down. Efficient and very worthwhile for the expansive perspective.

Campanile di San Marco is a must-visit spot in Venice. The elevator ride to the top takes just a few minutes, and the view is absolutely breathtaking — red rooftops, the lagoon, and the entire city spread out before you. The atmosphere is incredible, and the photos turn out amazing. One of those unforgettable experiences you’ll always remember.

Unbeatable panoramic views from one of the highest viewpoints in Venice. Definitely worth visiting. We went in the off season so didn't have to wait at all to go up, but obviously bear in mind what time of year you visit - it is Venice after all!
