Service 🔝 and the best drinks I've had in Venice! Not a lot of place to sit but I like having my drink by the canal ♥️ Also, little bruschettas were so so good, you can find nice combos such as gorgonzola with pear and honey, etc.
An absolute Venice classic — small, crowded, and full of character. We grabbed two glasses of red wine and a tiny charcuterie plate for just €7, sat by the canal steps, and watched the city go by. Simple, authentic, and effortlessly perfect. Exactly the kind of local spot that makes you fall in love with Venice all over again.
The best sandwich I have ever tasted. It’s a small store yet serves delicious food. Very affordable too added with some prosecco and wine. Perfecto!
Best bang for your buck, and as local as it gets. This tiny corner spot is always buzzing; and for good reason. The gentlemen behind the counter serves up delicious, affordable cicchetti and wine with a big smile and impressive efficiency. At almost any hour, there’s a lively, friendly (and often rowdy) crowd; sometimes even breaking into singing and chanting. It’s a true Venetian scene and an experience not to miss. As a pescetarian, I appreciated the variety of vegetarian options. My favorite was the sun-dried tomato and cheese spread; perfectly balanced with salty and sweetness. I tried cicchetti all over Venice, and if I had to pick a favorite, this would be it. Simple, flavorful, affordable, and executed beautifully. Just superb! 👍👍
Super cheap drinks 1.80€ for a wine!! Takeaway and can stand in the square outside.. do NOT sit in front of the church though. But the place is AMAZING, definitely visit for good cheap wine
