Amazing hotel in a beautifully renovated palazzo directly on the Grand Canal. Our room was very nice, super comfortable. Housekeeping was impeccable. Concierge and lobby staff were welcoming and professional. Boat drivers were super friendly and eager to please. A wonderful experience! As frequent Aman guests, we always anticipate a flawless, hyper-personalized experience, but our stay at Aman Venice unfortunately fell short of the high standard set by others in the portfolio. There is no denying the physical beauty of the hotel—the historic palazzo setting is breathtaking. However, for a luxury property of this caliber, the fundamentals should be seamless. Our room lacked proper blackout shades, which made getting a restful night's sleep incredibly difficult. Furthermore, the gym was unbelievably small and definitely not in Aman standars or even 5 star standards. Also, while the staff was mostly friendly, the service lacked the intuitive, deeply personal touch that usually defines an Aman stay. It felt more like a standard high-end luxury hotel rather than the bespoke, intimate hospitality we’ve come to expect from the brand. It was a beautiful stay, but ultimately one of our more disappointing Aman experiences.
This hotel was the highlight of our trip to Italy. The hotel is simply stunning and elegant with exceptional staff. The rooms are comfortable and unbelievably gorgeous. The private tour of the Doge palace was unbelievable and the sunset tour was breathe taking. The other thing we enjoyed the most was going to the market with the chef who then prepared a meal from what we picked. It was so memorable and unique and delicious. We were with our 8 year old daughter and she is still in a trance from how much she loved this hotel. She could not stop looking at the ceilings. Thank you so much
A place where every detail has been thoughtfully considered. If there is such a thing as a perfect place — this is it. As a design lover, I was in absolute delight — everything was so beautifully crafted, a true feast for the eyes and the soul! Since this visit to Venice was only for a few hours between flights, I had time to stop by for a cocktail — and what an experience it was! The drink selection, ingredients, and presentation were all carefully curated. Even the non-alcoholic options were creative and impressive. The cocktails we tried were truly world-class — perfectly balanced and delicious. The atmosphere was calm and unhurried, with an intimate and private feel. A peaceful spot with exceptionally kind and attentive staff. Everything was of the highest standard, yet the team remained warm and genuine — which made the experience even more special. Highly recommended, even if you only have time for a quick drink. But I already know — this is a place I’ll be coming back to!
An absolute memorable vacation in a beautiful Palazzo overlooking the Great Canal! The Aman Venice took such great care of our family. It was an incredible stay we will always remember! Our Elf on the shelf even visit our daughter! We truly enjoyed their breakfast, drinks, spa, personal service and location! Thank you for your hospitality!
