Even though I'm not really a bar person, I recently stopped by The Keefer Bar and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the atmosphere. The ambience is warm, stylish, and inviting, with a unique vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy the moment. What truly made the evening exceptional, however, was our bartender, Emma. I've met a lot of bartenders over the years, and I can honestly say she is one of the best I've ever encountered. She was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her passion for what she does shines through in every interaction, and she made me feel completely at ease sitting at the bar on my own. The drinks, the service, the atmosphere, and the overall experience were all outstanding. Emma turned what was supposed to be a quick visit into a memorable evening. If you're in Vancouver and looking for a great place to enjoy a cocktail and exceptional hospitality, The Keefer Bar is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Therapy found at The Keefer Bar. The apothecary-style bottles, and the way they turn cocktails into actual art. I stopped in for their Happy Hour and honestly, between the Dumplings and the Pineapple Daiquiris, I never wanted to leave. The Happy Hour menu is arguably the best deal in Chinatown.

Came for happy hour with coworkers. Was empty when we arrived but packed when we left. Staff either not smart or not considerate to put our larger party together but rather split our party to different tables initially even though bar was empty. One of our party used to be a server and realized we could move a few adjacent small tables together. The staff were accommodating enough to allow this and moved the tables for us and we were set. Service was really good for the rest of the night. The drinks were nice but expensive if we're not here for happy hour. The happy hour menu made the drinks more worth It. This place had dim sum but small portions and high prices make them not worth it outside of happy hour. Happy hour makes dim sum half price, but we came after a late lunch so we didn't order this time. Parking is metered mainly street and the nearby parking lot where the Floata restaurant used to be. Free parking is only available a few blocks away in Strathcona neighborhood (east of Gore St).

Didn’t have a chance to try the food but came for the happy hour drinks. Love the old school medical vibe inside. Great service from friendly staff. Drinks were delicious and great prices for happy hour!

Strong drink that are well made. Got the vodka based ones and all were excellent. Very red and dark. Felt like an underground venue with Chinese letters and acupuncture pictures everywhere. Fun vibes here and excellent drinks.
