Enjoyed my stay at The St. Regis Hotel in downtown Vancouver—it’s a charming, historic boutique hotel with some real highlights. The location couldn’t be better: right in the heart of downtown, easy walking to Granville Street, Waterfront Station, Canada Place, Gastown, shopping, restaurants, and public transit. Ideal spot if you’re sightseeing or just want convenience without a car. The complimentary breakfast was excellent—made-to-order options, fresh ingredients, table service instead of a basic buffet, and really tasty. One of the best free hotel breakfasts I’ve experienced; it made mornings easy and enjoyable. Front desk staff were welcoming, efficient, and super helpful with check-in, local tips, and anything we needed—great service all around. The room had that classic old-building character: squeaky hardwood floors (noticeable when moving around at night), and the lighting controls were a bit frustrating—had to turn on basically all the lights (or the master setup) just to get the bathroom light working, which got annoying for late-night trips or trying to keep things dim. Minor quirks aside, it’s great value for the prime location, solid breakfast, and personal touch. I’d return for the convenience and perks—definitely recommend for location-focused stays in Vancouver!
After all these months, I continue to look back fondly at my stay at the St. Regis in Vancouver. I stayed here for a week over the New Year with my family and had a wonderful time. The level of service was high with friendly, helpful staff; management has done a splendid job at choosing great people to uphold the hotel’s reputation and quality. The St. Regis had all I was looking for and more, boasting a prime location, quality L’occataine bath products, and a complimentary breakfast. The one thing I will mention to prospective guests is that since the building is over a century old, there is only one small elevator that both staff and guests use, lowering the hotel’s accessibility score. I would definitely recommend a stay here and will be sure to stay here next time I’m in Vancouver.
Staff was very nice and friendly. Carlos was super nice helpful and friendly, from the moment we arrived he made us feel welcomed. He suggested places to eat and go. It's great to find people like him always with a friendly smile. The breakfast staff also very nice Lind, Suangui and Anita very friendly helpful and always with a big smile. Front desk staff very helpful and very nice and attentive Thanks everyone at St. Regis you made our trip very memorable . Keep it up
This is an excellent little hotel. Staff are friendly and efficient. Room has everything you could want, including glorious soaker tub and fluffy robes. Occitane products are lovely. Complimentary breakfast is...huge -- and just excellent, and I am fussy about my eggs. Really, I have nothing but high praise.
It was our first time at the St Regis. I knew upon arrival that we had chosen wisely! We were greeted at the door in the pouring rain by a man with a wonderful smile opening the door for us. We were early and asked if they would hold our luggage which they agreed to without hesitation. The hotel is centrally located with a short walk from the Vancouver city centre station or waterfront station from the airport. The Granville station is right out side the hotel as well. We walked to Chinatown, Gastown, Robson and the waterfront all with ease. The room was the king size room and it was very clean and inviting. The free breakfast was excellent with the hot or cold options and it wasn’t a buffet which was great. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was fast so we could get on with plans. There are a lot of great restaurants around the hotel, definitely no need for a car. We felt safe and welcome. We would definitely stay here again.
