I just stayed there with my brother, sister in-law and nephews this last week, I want to point out the incredible service, everyone was really nice and polite, but one stood out from his kindness, sweet attitude and patience towards my nephews.. his name was Marty. We stayed one more night and were pretty sad we didn’t see him that last night. Definitely would want to go back. the kids loved the warm temperature on the bathroom floor and the little couch and games on the lobby.

Pros: Most staff were very friendly and professional, it is a beautiful and unique location, and has very fancy and technologically advanced rooms. The free standing bath tub is a nice option that not many hotels have these days! The cleaning services were very professional and even if I didn't get my room cleaned the staff would still approach me in the hall to see if I needed anything or leave a note. I comment on this specifically because there are a lot of reviews where folks complained about housekeeping so the hotel has likely made some changes based on guest feedback which is encouraging. Cons: The arrival and valet parking area really needs more space, I know this is Vancouver and space is an issue downtown, but if you happen to arrive by car when it is busy it's confusing and frustrating as there is only a cramped back alley, no front entrance. Then, right as one staff member at the valet started to provide instructions, a second person tried to help, then suddenly a third very obnoxious staff interrupted and asked the same questions. If a guest is already being helped by one person, there is no need for another person to intrude and confuse the situation, so they could work on their communication as a team. The rest of the valet service throughout the stay was excellent and we never had to see that annoying guy again fortunately. The other disappointing aspect was the flimsy pillows that sink right into the bed, for such a nice hotel I think there needs to be options available for pillows in terms of firmness. A few small things: I wish the pool was open later than 7pm, and the room temperature control is truly awful. No matter what temperature you set the room to, it never changed by more than a degree. In summary, I would stay here again but bring my own pillows and not bring a vehicle to get rid of the major cons. Again, most of the staff were wonderful and it is a nice place, just needs a few adjustments to go to a 5 star review in my opinion.

We had a wonderful stay at the Paradox Hotel. The staff were attentive and professional, the rooms were spotless, fresh, and beautifully updated, and the bottle of wine was a thoughtful touch. The concierge service was exceptional - guiding us to an amazing cocktail lounge and speakeasy that we loved. They gave us some chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary stay. Highly recommend. Thanks!

Wow! What an experience. The hotel itself is great, facilities are top quality, beds super comfortable and rooms very clean. Moreso, I'd like to highlight the 5-star service from all of the staff we came across. Saksham is definitely worth a special mention, after hearing it was our honeymoon, he gave us a complimentary upgrade to a suite! Simply amazing. Really loved our time at the Paradox and will be recommending it to all of our friends.

We had a great stay at the Paradox Hotel Vancouver. The hotel itself is modern and well designed, and the rooms are very well appointed. What really stood out, though, was the staff. At every level, everyone we dealt with was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our stay. Highly recommended, and we will definitely stay here again when visiting Vancouver. Other hotels could take a lesson from Paradox when it comes to delivering a positive guest experience.
