One of the highlights of our first day in Vancouver! Science World was interactive, exciting and full of discovery. What impressed me most was how different children experience it in completely different ways — we were on the same floors but exploring totally different exhibits. A wonderful place for curious kids of all kinds — creative minds, future engineers, little doctors, mathematicians and explorers alike. So many hands-on exhibits and truly something for every child. My daughter absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave ❤️
“The Beautiful Dome” is the official name of Vancouver's Science World geodesic dome following its massive, temporary transformation into a giant soccer ball for the FIFA World Cup 2026. "Trionda" translates to "three waves" in Spanish, symbolizing the historic cross-border collaboration between the three host nations: Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
I recently visited Science World and it was an amazing experience for both kids and adults. The place is very interactive, with so many hands-on science activities that make learning fun and engaging for the whole family. There are interesting sections on fossils, the human body, insects, and many other science topics. Each exhibit is designed in a way that you can touch, explore, and really understand how things work. I especially enjoyed the cool facts and detailed explanations provided throughout—it makes learning feel exciting rather than boring. It’s a great place to visit with family, as it keeps everyone curious and entertained. Highly recommended for anyone who loves science or wants a fun and educational outing in Vancouver
I went to the Cirque Masquerade Ball Halloween Party held at/in Science World. At first, I was totally amazed that such an event could be held in the Science World, based on the size of the event. However, when I attended the event, I realized how big Science World facility truly is. It was a super-amazing venue that seemingly had no difficulty whatsoever to accommodate such a big event. It is such a beautiful facility that accomodated such a large event. I enjoyed meeting several new people, that were very friendly and outgoing similar to myself. I highly recommend it as an awesome place to go to events or venues. I look forward to attending more events that might be held there.
