It was one of the best dinning experiences for us. I recommend prior reservation as it’s usually packed, especially during happy hours. We ordered entirely off the happy hour menu including oysters, cheeseburger sliders, lobster & shrimp roll and miso glazed short ribs. Everything was delicious and the service was super quick. Special shoutout to Brian and Heidi who made our day even better with their service and they were incredibly kind to offer a crème brûlée on the house as it was our anniversary. Would definitely visit again.
Had a fantastic lunch at Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House. The service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. We ordered a great variety of dishes and were impressed with everything that came to the table. The seafood was fresh, the flavors were excellent, and each dish was beautifully prepared. We had a wonderful spread and enjoyed sharing different items across the menu. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing lunch. Looking forward to returning again soon!
We came here due to a very high recommendation from a friend that visited VanCity. It wasn't too bad. On walking in, you realize that the place is absolutely huge. There are lots of servers though to take care of your needs while there. Is it very busy, bustling and happening place. There was love piano bar. It's not bad.
Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House delivered an absolutely outstanding dining experience — easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Vancouver. The menu is a seafood lover’s dream, and every dish we ordered was exceptional. Fresh ingredients, bold flavours, and impeccable presentation — the kitchen truly delivers at the highest level. What really set the evening apart was the service. The entire team was professional, warm, and attentive throughout. You could tell they genuinely care about every guest’s experience. A Vancouver classic that absolutely lives up to its reputation. Highly recommend for a special occasion or any time you want a truly memorable meal. Five stars without hesitation!
The chocolate cake!! Get the chocolate cake!! Great food, wonderful service. Get a reservation. Good lunch specials. Great steak.The fries were a bit oily and soft though. Washrooms are clean and luxurious. Service is fast and professional. A proper 5 star experience with fair prices.
