The cod was cooked perfectly, crispy and moist without being overfried. I just wish the fish and batter had a bit more seasoning. The red curry soup was interesting but not really my thing. Great service and a great vibe. Overall a nice spot for fish and chips.

I had one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever tried at GoFish. We ordered both cod and halibut, and each was excellent in its own way. The batter was light, crisp, and golden—just enough to add texture without overpowering the fish. Inside, the fillets were moist, flaky, and cooked perfectly, with that subtle sweetness you only get from truly fresh fish. The fries were crisp on the outside, soft inside, and paired perfectly with their house tartar sauce. Even the coleslaw stood out—it had a distinct, slightly tangy flavor that balanced the richness of the fried fish beautifully. Simple, classic, and done right—GoFish absolutely nails what fish and chips should be.

Must try Soup of the day! Highly recommended! I got this red curry chowder on the day I visited, chunks of seafoods inside and the soup is so flavorful, super delicious. I bet they are proud of their soup too. If course, the fish is battered and fried on the spot upon order. I'm not a big eater so I'm glad they have the option to just get a fish without chips so I can fill my stomach space with the delicious soup. It was so good and comforting especially on a cold day. Best enjoying on the spot with the view.

The fish and chips here were fairly good! Everything was very fresh, the portions of fish were great. However, the fish was not as flaky/tender as we expected, and the batter was very thick. The fries weren’t anything special either. This is a great spot for fish and chips but not the best we’ve had.

Great little spot slightly away from the bustle of Granville Island. Lovely crisp batter and fresh fish. Chips were delicious, but a tad over salted for our tastes. Expect a bit of a queue to get food, but use the time to chat and make friends with other visitors :)
