What. An. Experience! I visited this restaurant about a year ago and, honestly, wasn’t too impressed back then. But coming back now… what a difference! The food, presentation, and overall experience have improved so much. I tried the ceviche, octopus, lobster roll, and seafood pasta, and every single dish was exceptional. The ceviche was fresh, the octopus perfectly tender, and the lobster roll had amazing sauces, I didn’t even want to add soy sauce. The seafood pasta was beautifully plated and rich in flavor. It’s clear that the kitchen has stepped up in both creativity and execution. Everything looked stunning and tasted even better. On top of that, great service! Our waiter was funny and very knowledgeable, made great suggestions. Definitely worth revisiting if you haven’t been in a while!
Attended a dinner here and the food was fantastic and fine. The garden party mocktail was a piece of art and not too sweet in a good way. The beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and rare inside with a nice sear on the outside. It was delicious. The mushroom soup was creamy and shroomy, it tasted excellent. The dessert was tasty too. Everything here is plated beautifully and the environment is quite pleasant. Great food!
We tried their Dine Out Vancouver menu. The pork belly was tasty but the fat layer was too much. Not much of the meat to enjoy. Beef tartar and other appetizers were great. All of us enjoyed its donuts. Service was quite slow but it was an enjoyable experience.
Delicious dinner and an excellent Dine Out menu! The tuna and salmon nigiri were so fresh and the traditional lomo filet mignon was mouthwateringly tender and the pork belly and scallops were perfectly cooked. The servings didn’t look huge but they were very filling; didn’t really have room for dessert and had to take the final, surprise dessert bites home. The chef came out to check on our meals, which was very nice. Our actual servers were a bit slow but that may have been due to the private party on the second floor. The food (and the chef) made for a very worthy experience though. A beautiful space, decor wise, and the patio must be lovely in the summer overlooking False Creek and Granville Island. Will be back.
Went to Dine Out 2025 with a group. Food was generally pretty decent but service could be vastly improved. A couple of dishes were over salted. Many servers were no where to be seen but were upstairs chatting. A few didn't seem to to know what was in the dishes as the explanations seemed unsure. Had to constantly flag down people to get water refill. Nice location and decent food, but not really worth it. The chocolate truffle at the end of the meal also had a strange fishy odor. Every at our table thought that was strange.
