We originally booked a different hotel in the same chain a few doors down, but were upgraded to this property instead, and we’re so glad we were. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely fantastic. Every member of staff we encountered was polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. The room itself was small but very functional, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was excellent and one of the highlights of the room. We had a small balcony overlooking Merchant Street. The building is lovely, an old courtyard has been converted to an inside space but keeping the original features so there is so much character. The rooftop bar was lovely, with great staff once again and very reasonable prices. Breakfast each morning was fantastic with plenty of choice and a great start to the day. We didn't use the pool, but were surprised to see one in a city boutique hotel! The location is excellent, right in the heart of Valletta with easy access to everything we needed during our stay. Overall, a wonderful experience and somewhere we would happily stay again.

They went above and beyond to make the day memorable, from a beautiful birthday display on the bed with fruit and Prosecco to the entire team singing 'Happy Birthday' at breakfast with a cake and candles! A huge, heartfelt thank you to Mohammad Tarik Tyagi, Rohit, and Jennifer on reception for their incredible attentiveness and hospitality. The hotel’s location is truly prime—you step right out into the heart of Valletta with the best shops, bars, and restaurants immediately at your doorstep. The Rosselli Hotel and Grain Restaurant were simply fabulous. From the moment we stepped over the threshold to the time we left seven days later we were thoroughly looked after. The ambience and decor of the hotel are beautiful and the staff clearly take great pride in providing a wonderful place to stay. The breakfasts were particularly special and we looked forward to them each day. (I didn’t expect to ever write that in a review!) Katho and the breakfast team took care to provide exceptional service which anticipated our every need. We were treated as valued guests and cared for every day. Thank you!

The hotel offers a very warm welcome and truly stands out. Although it is located on one of the central and lively streets, it feels cosy and comfortable, with a distinctive design both inside and out compared to other nearby hotels. The staff are attentive and polite — we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco on arrival and offered a lovely room. They were happy to accommodate our request for a higher floor and provided great recommendations to help us explore the city and the island. For our anniversary, we received a bottle of wine, which was a very thoughtful touch. The room was always stocked with water, chocolates, and small treats, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, the 24/7 service and the number of staff available created a real feeling of a high-quality five-star experience. Special thanks to the entire team, and especially to Mohammad Tari.

Thisnis a 5* hotel and our experience matched that rating for this heritage hotel. My husband was ill and hospitalised during our trip and I could not fault this hotel and the help they gave me. The breafasts were fabulous and the general service excellant. In particular katho, Umair, ans Mohammad Tarik, all the morning waiters and waitresses were very accomidating to our food alergies and tastes. They remembered our breakfast request without reminder. The rooms were kept very clean and well furnished. We will certainly stay in this hotel again.
