Copenhagen is in the heart of Ruzafa on a busy street with many restaurants. Service: 5- Their service is excellent. They went out of their way to fit in our group of four during a very busy lunch service. The waitress was pleasant and fortunately spoke English. Atmosphere:3-Copenhagen is decorated with predominantly black and white color. It’s clean and the seating is spread out comfortably. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Food:2-We looked forward to trying their extensive Vegetarian and vegan menu. When we watched the main dishes go by with lasagna and burgers and soups, they all looked delicious. We decided to all order the menu del dia, we shouldn’t have. They had a starter with two types of salad and a cauliflower soup. Next was the main course of tacos or spaghetti and last dessert, either chocolate vegan cake or pineapple. Let me start with the salad, I ordered the pistachio dressing salad with fruits and it was missing the pistachio dressing. The cauliflower soup was very good and not lumpy and had great flavors. The main course was the spaghetti which was unfortunately tasteless and reminded me of a very poor canned version. My wife had the tacos which were good. A nice green verde sauce and lots of stir fried vegetables. Last was the biggest disappointment the dessert. The vegan chocolate cake was dry and no flavor. The pineapple was very poorly presented, they looked like they came out of a can and just dropped in the bowl. All in all the menu del dia was a bust. We tried to end it on a positive note and ordered coffee, a mistake. The cafe con leche was not very good. It’s unfortunate that owners deflect to hide the truth and don’t take accountability.
Absolutely fabulous vegetarian restaurant.located in a very vibrant neighborhood. The food is delicious, great service and lots of options from starters, mains and dessert. Really value for money tasting menu. We had the cauliflower, aubergine starters and burger and sandwich mains. Would highly recommend. .
We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Valencia. The food here is delicious — cannot believe that vegetarian dishes can be so tasty. They are creatively prepared here. During our first visit, we ordered burger and noodles; the next visit, we ordered quesadilla and Thai curry. Loved all the dishes. The service is very customer oriented and friendly. We did not have reservation during our first visit and the restaurant was full, the hostess made a table for us in an open area. We highly recommend this restaurant for food and service!!
Beautiful restaurant with a gentle ambience. Excellent vegan options. We were served by Niurka who was very helpful in allowing my to practice Spanish 😀 The food was delicious and different. I particularly enjoyed the croquettes as a starter and the cauliflower. We had three courses and everything was exceptional. We will go back
I chose this place for a birthday dinner with my partner. I stated this in the reservation. Our waitress did her absolute best to make our evening special 🩷 the waiters were overall so nice and sweet! They even got my partner a surprise dessert with a candle and sang to her happy birthday and took pictures ! I couldn’t have chosen a better spot, thank you guys again! And about the food - I think it was fine (got the katsu sandwich and the burger), they had some food not available and overall I’m honestly not a big fan of mixing many cuisines together as they do here. But I think they are on the right track and I would visit them again.
