Dining at Restaurante Lienzo was truly an experience that goes beyond food—it’s art in every sense. A Michelin-starred and multi-awarded restaurant, Lienzo lives up to its reputation for exceptional quality and creativity. What makes it even more special is its origin—born from an art gallery, and to this day, art continues to live within its walls. The space regularly showcases works from notable artists, blending visual art with the ephemeral art of cuisine. We opted for the 14-course menu, and every dish felt like a masterpiece—unique, meticulously prepared, and thoughtfully presented. Each course tells its own story, making the entire experience feel like moving through a curated art exhibition, one plate at a time. If you’re in Valencia and looking for something truly memorable, Lienzo is not just a meal—it’s an artistic experience you won’t forget.
Incredible experience! Great variety of food, the seafood dishes were particularly great. The waitstaff were great, especially Andreea who was very attentive, explained all the dishes in detail, and created a lovely atmosphere. The dessert. I cannot stop thinking about it. I hate vinegar, but the dragonfruit dessert dish worked so incredibly well, it blew my mind.
The experience was very nice, the food combination very interesting, some dishes were very good, others less but I liked trying different things, which I would never have tried otherwise. The waiters were very attentive and super kind
All around exceptional experience. The chef sends out beautifully designed dishes that reflect the art on the walls- all by a local artist! We had the tasting menu with 10 passes, there is also option for one with 14. They are all little works of art and whimsically presented. I would highly recommend the wine pairing, which perfectly matches with each delicious dish. Everyone was so welcoming and informative-we learned a lot about València wines. We had so much fun, I would go back in a heartbeat to try the 14!
I appreciate the artistry and the science that goes into a theatrical performance such as this. So many players are delivering with such precision and finesse, it is hard to imagine how a profit could be turned with only 6 tables. In the end food needs to deliver on taste, texture, sufficient quantity to satisfy and nutritional balance. As for a story, I couldn’t care less. As for taste overall 4 stars, texture 5 stars, quantity - if it wasn’t for the bread I would have left hungry - 3 stars and 3 stars for nutritional balance as not a coloured vegetable anywhere. I also strongly recommend a written description of what we are eating in Spanish and English.
