No clarify of the starting time of the jazz performance at all, we been here since 9:15 as the email was stated. When we order the drinks, the waiter said it will start at 9:45, but then when they were serving the alcohol, they told us it will start at 10:30pm, and when it’s 10:30pm the show wasn’t starting. On their website, it shows performances are starting from 9:30pm, no stating of the show is starting at 10:30pm onward. There’s no English at all for foreign customers. The man at the bar was so rude, he was shouting at us (only at the women, he did not reply to any males in the group), threaten us to go to find the police when we said we are happy to pay for the drinks. When we were going to go to the police station the man went back to the bar. There’s no information at all on their websites or in the confirmation email stating that the show will be starting at that late. The drinks were served slow and taste bad, even then we were happy to pay them.
Jimmy Glass was definitely what I needed, researched this place before arriving to Valencia and was not disappointed! We truly enjoyed SongAh Chae and trio this past Friday and will return this Friday coming! Thank you so much Chevy for continuing the love of Jazz and for sharing it with us Jazz Lovers! It’s an interesting place. I was with a group that enjoys jazz far more than I do, so for me it was fine, apart from the wine being served in these ridiculous small glasses.
Enjoy live jazz music? Then Jimmy Glass Jazz bar is a must, intimate small bar its like having the musicians in your front room, the owner gets the sound levels just perfect, great musicians as well, first come first in, you can reserve but dont miss opening time
If you’re looking for great live jazz in Valencia, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is great and the quality of the music is fantastic. It’s not that big, but that only adds to the atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city.
