The best Agua de Valencia ever! Soft, smooth and dangerously delicious 🍊✨ You barely notice the alcohol… and then suddenly it hits you 😂 Elegant, refreshing and dangerously drinkable. And can we talk about the olives? Absolutely incredible — served in a delicious pickled marinade with garlic, onions and gherkins. So simple and so good. The place itself is wonderfully over-the-top: rococo, dramatic, a little eccentric… but incredibly cool. ✨ Definitely one of those spots with personality in Valencia.
Absolutely iconic place for Agua de Valencia. The atmosphere, theatrical vibe and the quality of the drink itself make this an absolute must-visit in Valencia. I genuinely recommend it with all my heart-but trust me, go for the big carafe if you’re two people. 😄🩷
One of the most beautiful interiors in Valencia star ceiling, gold mirrors, chandeliers, the whole fantasy. Best Agua de Valencia in town, made with real Valencian oranges. Bonus: you can buy their orange liqueur by the bottle to make it at home (one bottle makes 3L), or grab a 1L take-away bottle of the ready cocktail. Atmosphere and drink both deliver.
We popped into Café de las Horas around 2:30 pm for a quick drink, and it turned out to be perfect timing, there was no line, and we were seated right away. What immediately struck us was how inviting and unique the atmosphere is: the bar blends ornate neo-baroque charm with a relaxed café vibe, making it feel like a special stop even if you only intend to stay for a drink. Of course, the highlight was trying the famous Agua de Valencia, a classic local cocktail of cava, fresh orange juice, gin and vodka that’s one of the city’s signature drinks. The version here was refreshing and well balanced, with great citrus flavour that perfectly matches a warm day out wandering the city. Sipping it felt both refreshing and indulgent, just the kind of midday break you hope for while exploring València. The interior also adds a touch of theatre to your visit: rich colours, decorative details and a cosmopolitan blend of cafe, cocktail bar and classic lounge make it far more memorable than your typical terrace stop. Service during our visit was smooth and friendly, and the fact that we arrived off-peak helped keep the experience calm and enjoyable. If you go at a busier hour, expect a bit more buzz or even a short wait, but it’s worth it. In short, Café de las Horas is a fantastic place for a casual drink or afternoon cocktail, particularly if you want to enjoy a beautifully presented Agua de Valencia in a setting that feels quintessentially Valencian.
Didn't eat here, but what a fantastic bar experience. Decor is unique from others we tried in Valencia, Agua De Valencia great, but the Espresso Martini cocktails were one of the best I've tasted (sorry I didn't get the person's name that made them . . . On two separate occasions) Would definitely recommend, and its well worth the short wait if there's a queue to get in . . . Don't walk away 👍
