Thev locked the main entrance midnight until 7am. There is no one at the front desk. The contact number they provided is wrong (my Uber driver tried to call & said the same.). Luckily, I heard some noise from the basement and found a lady in the kitchen to help me open the main door. Tried every door, they are all locked. The room is tiny, I never stay in a hotel with no rubbish bin, except the tiny one meant for ladies. The designs look good but very hard to use. The shower button was malfunctioned, had to press it 10 times to stop the water from running. I filed a complaint through Trip.com, and they responded that the local agency attempted to contact the hotel management but was unsuccessful. Poor after-sales service! I require a clear explanation as to why there was no staff at the front desk of a self-proclaimed 4-star hotel, why the main entrance was locked, and why an invalid contact number was provided. I did not recommend anyone having an early train to catch to stay here. Terrible experience & the worst I had in Poland!!
Very nice hotel in the heart of old town Toruń. Large comfortable bed, but a little weird being placed directly on the floor. Good bathroom with large shower. Staff a bit inexperienced, but nice and accomodating. Only a few small things that were a bit irritating, like 4 bottles of conditioner and no shampoo...
Room that I got didnt have a bathroom door, which was quite unusual. The room overall was small but enough for a few days. For longer stay I would definitely ask to change it. Staff was friendly and attentive. Parking is available outside of rhe hotel in a street. There are about 8 parking spaces reserved for the hotel. Additional fee for parking. The location though is amazing, right at the corner from Copernicus house and very close to the market. Building is well renovated, beautiful staircase and a terrace up top to enjoy the sunsets. Definitely recommend.
Great, cozy rooms in the old town. The city center is only 1 minute away. From my window, I could see Copernicus’s house.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, but I would not recommend this hotel to a friend. First, the service was wildly rude, cold, and inattentive. The breakfast selection was quite limited and phoned in. Rooms were ok. The shower pressure was fantastic, but the motion detector would go off rather frequently, leaving you in the dark. There were limited outlets and towels were stingy. We only stayed one night and if that’s your plan, I think the excellent location might be worth it. But the people who work there seem to have no interest in the “hospitality” aspect of the hospitality industry.
