The service, ambience, and of course food were all 10/10!!! The vibe is very moody and cozy - perfect for date nights or intimate outings. My faves were the steak tartare (got too excited to eat it before taking the pic), the ravioli with cheese curds and leek (my number one), and the Tom cruise cake (it tastes like a sour cream glazed donut from Tim’s but better iykyk). I would also give an honourable mention to the bread and cultured butter which I highly recommend ordering alongside the tartare. To top it all off they gave us free appertivos because it was our anniversary

We recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Grey Gardens. The food menu is very focused. Dishes were so flavourful, fresh and excellently presented. Server Anna provided attentive, professional and friendly service. They have an extensive wine list. The ambiance is warm, fun and welcoming. I can see why this restaurant is consistently well reviewed and rates a mention in the Michelin guide. I expect to return to this restaurant. Highly recommended!

This is now on my list of favs. The food here is excellent. Location is in Kensington so outside is pretty ghetto but when you step inside it’s a completely different experience. Their Old Fashions are great, they have a really good wine menu, and all the food is on point. Went for a business dinner and we were there for 3+ hours. Four people and the bill was about $750 with tip. They steak was excellent (though it was $100), servings are family style and not very big but ok for 2 people. I can’t recall all things we ordered as it was a lot of dishes but every single dish was excellent. Will definitely be going back.

I visited for a Grey Monday— a once a month, financially “accessible” tasting menu. I say accessible as the normal Torontonian is not diving into casual fine dining tasting menus, but as far as tasting menus go, this is well worth the price. Food was really great. For the price point— honestly phenomenal, the best I’ve seen in the GTA. For $90 you receive 6-7 courses. Many diners always tout how small portions are— for Grey Gardens, this is far from the truth. By the 4th course I was full and really had to push myself to finish the rest. This is a great thing, by the way. The menu changes monthly, but the main course was lamb belly with sunchoke puree- easily $60 at another restaurant, but only 1/7 dishes I had that night. My favourite of the night was a potato and anchovie dish. Service was prompt, and on par for a fine dining restaurant. Never went without a drink, table always wiped, water always filled. I went as a solo diner— I’d highly recommend Grey Mondays! I’ll need to visit another time.

Incredible dining experience. When you visit a restaurant with a seasonal menu - you visit for the chefs vision and for a chance at tasting something unique. The vibe of the restaurant was great - most of the food was good, but there was a few standouts. The slow braised leeks were incredible - it had a rich umami mushroom sauce that is hard to describe. The pasta surprised us as well - personally I enjoy this take over restaurants who are known for their rose style sauce like Carbone. The standout for me was the crab apple dessert - if you’re reading this in the fall of 2025 - go try it as the chef said it’s coming off the menu by December. The combo of the rich caramel flavour from the for grais mousse with the tart crab apple ice-cream made for both the best and the most unique dessert I’ve ever tried. I’m legitimately heartbroken this will be taken off the menu. Wine list and drinks were incredible and our server was very nice - highly recommend sitting at the chefs counter
