I recently visited the Aga Khan Museum and really enjoyed the experience. The exterior architecture was very unique and stood out compared to other buildings in the area. Inside, they offered complimentary coat check which was a nice convenience. The first floor focused more on literature, history, artwork, tiles, and storytelling, which made the exhibits very interesting and informative. The second floor was more interactive and focused on games and sports such as chess, polo, lancing, and wrestling. Overall, the museum was educational, interactive, and a great place to learn about history and culture.

I visited the Aga Khan Museum and had a pleasant experience overall. The lady at reception was very nice, helpful, and friendly—thank you for the warm welcome. The first hall, which focused on ceramics, was decent. The other two rooms were more interesting and engaging. As an Iranian, I’ve seen many similar pieces before, but I think it would be quite fascinating for Western visitors who may be encountering this kind of art and history for the first time. Paid parking is available, which is convenient.

Outstanding architecture transports you out of this city, and the inside, the exhibits are wonderful and inspiring. A great learning experience for me about Islam. I saw groups of students there also, taking in the recent event and workshop, "Game to Go" whose interaction was wonderful to see. It was a beautiful afternoon there and the staff are very helpful. For me, the most captivating piece is the tapestry, "Your Way Behind on the Other Side" by Aisha Khalid, which could be studied for hours.

A truly wonderful experience at the Aga Khan Museum! From the moment you arrive, everything feels welcoming and thoughtfully curated. The free parking is a huge bonus in Toronto, making the visit even more convenient. What really stood out was how family-friendly the museum is—there were free activities for children that were engaging, educational, and well organized. It’s not always easy to find cultural spaces that cater so well to both adults and kids, but they’ve done an excellent job here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. And of course, the exhibits are absolutely stunning—beautifully presented, rich in history, and truly inspiring. You can easily spend hours exploring and still want to come back for more. Highly recommend this museum for anyone looking for a meaningful and enjoyable experience in Toronto!

Fantastic place, the collection is not that big however, but you can see very old books on medicine, math and Persian literature. There is a free complementary bag check. The wall map showing each empire was very informative. The gift shop has some unique items.
