What a wonderful place to stay! First of the rooms are way more spacious than they look like on the photos. We had the standard double room with shared bathroom. We were able to fit two large bags under the bed and were able to open the big bags fully on the floor - perfect for packing your bags. The bed was extremely comfy, the shared facilities spotless and the view from the rooftop was phenomenal. We appreciated the free towels and the free baggage storage before check-in and after check-out. The surroundings of the hostel is nice as it is quite and relaxed. But now for the best part: the staff! We never had such welcoming and friendly personell anywhere! Apart from their good English they did everything they could to make us happy - even lifting our heavy luggage into our room while we were out exploring the city prior to check-in. Yu was especially welcoming - we had an hour long chat with him about various topics and it felt like we had known him for years. This is really the perfect place to stay when you are in Tokyo!

Plat Hostel is really nice, you can get single rooms, the staff are extremely friendly and they all speak English quite well. There’s a small kitchen you can use and hot beverages are free, you just need to keep the area clean. Also, the place is close to Asakusa station (A-18) which is extremely useful since that line goes to Haneda airport.

My review is based on expectations from the price we paid. We booked an en-suite room with a double bed. The room was tiny but perfectly adequate for our needs as tourists in Tokyo. Check in and checkout service were very easy and clear. Location was ideal. Close to SKYTREE and easy walk to Asukusa station. My wife did comment that the pillows were hard.

This place doesn't have a lot of room in the rooms. But it's enough for your luggage and yourself. The beds are surprisingly more comfortable than they look. I'm a tall guy and had no problems sleeping here. Good for a place to rest your head.

It's very comfy, clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful! Location is great as we wanted easy access to Haneda airport and it's super near Sensoji and Skytree!
