Loved this hotel! A chic, modern, minimalist hotel in the middle of nihonbashi with large room (we were able to open 4 medium luggages at once!). We had the corner room, it was squeaky clean, spacious, quiet and very comfortable. The amenities was provided in the lobby, and you can make your own bath salt aromatherapy. This made the lobby smells really nice! If I could pick one downside was that this hotel was quite far from the nearest train station, around 800 m, which can be quite a lot after a full day of walking around tokyo. But I'd still go back and recommend this hotel to everyone out there who doesn't want to stay at Tokyo's touristy spot.
We loved our stay at Hamacho Hotel and would absolutely stay here again. The staff were so kind from the moment we arrived and were helpful throughout our stay. One thing we really appreciated was that they accepted our luggage forwarding, and our bags were already in the room when we checked in, which made arrival so easy. They were also very accommodating whenever we needed extra towels or pillows. The hotel has some really nice perks in the area too, including discounts at affiliated spots nearby. We enjoyed having a coffee shop and ramen place across the street, and there were also chocolate truffles in the building, which was such a fun bonus. The location was great for us. It was quiet, not packed with tourists, and close to a train station. It is a little out of the way compared to some busier areas, but honestly that ended up being a good thing. We found it easy to get taxis and ride drop-offs here, and there were also two 24/7 supermarkets right next to the hotel, which came in handy more than once. Overall, such a comfortable and convenient stay with wonderful staff.
I had a fantastic stay at Hamacho Hotel Tokyo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — every time I entered or left the hotel, I was greeted warmly, which really made me feel at home. The hotel itself also has a lovely, luxurious scent, and I appreciated how amenities were thoughtfully displayed at the lobby, making it easy to grab what I needed without having to ask. Housekeeping was very considerate as well. I had the “Do Not Disturb” sign on, and instead of skipping service completely, they packed fresh towels and essentials neatly in a bag and placed it right outside my room — such a thoughtful touch. I stayed in a corner room, which was very quiet and peaceful, allowing me to sleep soundly every night. The location is also very convenient, with several train stations about a 10-minute walk away and close to a number of tourist attractions. I booked a room for three people, and even with all our luggage opened up, there was still enough space to move around comfortably — which is quite rare in Tokyo! Overall, a wonderful experience with great service, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommended!
Perfect stay. Even the smallest room has a good layout so it didn’t feel cramped, the bed was comfortable with plenty of space next to it, housekeeping did a great job every time. The only thing I was apprehensive about before booking was the distance to the metro stations (still only 10 minutes from the nearest one, 12 to some others) but I’m happy I ended up booking anyway, because it didn’t feel like too much plus there’s an amazing bakery next door, a good coffee place across the street, family mart and 7/11 around the corner and the absolute best gyoza spot a 3 minute walk away. 300m away there’s a bus station from which you can take a bus directly to either of the airports, super convenient and much more comfortable than going by metro. All in all perfect stay and would definitely stay here again if I return to Tokyo.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our honeymoon and absolutely loved the property. The rooms are a decent size for Japanese hotels and very clean. The clothing they gave us was very comfortable and we enjoyed taking advantage of the available amenities and bath salt bar. We absolutely would stay here again and loved the location - not too far from anything, but not in a very busy or touristy location which was great to unwind each evening. We hope to stay here again on future trips!
