Absolutely amazing dining experience. The vegan tasting menu was phenomenal and the flavors so beautiful. My favorite dinner in Sydney by far. And the staff were so friendly and seemed genuinely happy to work there. The hostess Mika (Mica?) was extra kind, attentive, and you could tell, excited about the food. A treat! The Yellow wine pairing was fantastic with the menu—highly recommend. All-in-all a wonderful experience that I’d be happy do over and over again! I think Yellow rivals vegan Michelin star restaurants that I’ve been to in Europe. Go, Yellow team!
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. I opted for the 6-course meal, and every course was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Although I’m not a vegetarian, I absolutely loved every dish they served. The flavors were unique, creative, and unlike anything I’ve tried before. Each course brought something different to the table, making the entire dining experience exciting and memorable. The ingredients were fresh, and every dish was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations. Once you visit, you’ll likely fall in love with the food and atmosphere and find yourself wanting to return. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional and unforgettable dining experience.
We discovered Yellow 3 years ago on our first trip to Sydney from the US. We had a fabulous meal then, and when we knew we were coming back to Sydney, eating at Yellow was a priority. We are not vegan, but the menu at Yellow offers everything that even an omnivore could want: flavor, texture, umami, and variety. The wine pairing was expertly chosen and complimented each course perfectly. Every person who eats should try this place.
This place had been on my list for a long time, and I finally came here for my birthday. The atmosphere and ambience are absolutely beautiful — and everything on the menu is fully vegan, which makes it even more impressive. 💚🌱💚 Let me get straight to the food — it was mind-blowingly delicious. Even the bread deserves a special mention. I absolutely love bread, and the one served here was on another level — incredibly delicious and perfectly made. We chose the set menu along with the non-alcoholic drink pairing, and the harmony between the drinks and the dishes was incredible. They truly felt like they were dancing together in my body. My favourites were the Cashew Dutch Carrots and the Roasted Figs — both were outstanding. Honestly, every single dish was full of flavour, creativity and care. Dessert was crazy delicious, and the small surprise vegan birthday cake made me so happy. Such a thoughtful touch. The service was friendly and welcoming. The staff explained each dish very well. There was a slight feeling of rush at times, but I hope that improves soon. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend it.
Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Yellow has been on my list for a while so I was excited to finally try it. Alize (hope I got the name right) took care of us and was so lovely. She was really attentive, explained the menu clearly and made the whole experience feel easy. The food was great. The starters were the standout for me with so much flavour and creativity. Dessert was also amazing. The mains were good as well, just not as good as the starters. The wines here were also really good and paired well with everything we ordered.
