Baxters is such a vibe and also FREE PRETZELS. One time they were itty bitty baby pretzels 😍 The drinks of the menu are a bit extravagant and expensive but it’s a groovy underground bar in the city so it’s kinda the vibe. Sometimes it can be very loud and crowded and they only have 3 booths.
This is one of the most intriguing places I ever seen in my entire life. When you approach the bar you have to enter in a dark street (a bit creepy) but then once you do the stairs you enter in a completely new word! It seemed to be in a Sherlock Holmes movie. A unique experience to taste very unique cocktails. Totally recommended!
Lair-like prohibition era vibes with delicious 🍸 concoctions. Generous servings and refills of pretzel 🥨 bites. No pressure from service staff. Cool to visit if you are not too particular about basement whiffs and dark places.
Kinda sketchy getting to Baxter Inn don't let it scare you off (see photos). I didn't have food here I came for the scotch! Literally hundreds of whiskeys with a massive selection of scotch! Great bartenders, dark pleasant atmosphere! Definite recommendation if you're a whiskey drinker!
Huge shoutout to London for absolutely making our night. From the moment we entered, you showed us the very best side of hospitality.. genuine, authentic, welcoming, and just an all-round legend. Not only were the drinks incredible, but you somehow managed to create a cocktail that was perfectly suited to my taste, which honestly blew me away. And coming from someone who used to be a bar manager 😎, that says a lot. The way you handled the bar solo while still making every single person feel welcome, looked after, and part of the atmosphere was seriously impressive. Your energy and natural hospitality are rare to come across these days. The company is incredibly lucky to have someone like you behind the bar. Thank you for the laughs, the amazing drinks, and for creating such a memorable night for us. If I could give more stars, I absolutely would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
