Great food. The Chicken Laksa and weekly special Har Mee is are my go to for lunch. There is always a line during lunch so be prepare the queue and wait for your food. But, the food comes quite quickly nevertheless. I think this is my go to for Laksa in Sydney.

Delicious prawn laksa. Prawns are very fresh, great service. We only wish it was more spicy and sour, rather than sweet. The coconut milk taste is stronger compared to Malaysia. It is also missing some depth. It is tasty nonetheless.

They've been around for a very long time. They've moved 3 or 4 times around the cbd. But their food hasn't changed. The laksa, the hor fun, the penang curry, the satay and peanut sauce are my ultimate favourite. The best Malaysian food I've ever tasted.

After shutting down its original Hunter Street location to make way for the new Metro Station, the legendary Malaysian eatery re-emerged near Circular Quay, bringing its chaotic customer service to Sydney Place. The prices have gone up due to inflation, but the line of Laksa craving people persists. The Laksa broth continued to exhibit that deep orange glow and that pile of sambal ensured that fiery flavour. The Har Mee brought an intense prawn flavour with tender pieces of pork, and that pile of sambal once again to keep things exciting. The seating is a mix of indoor (in the tunnel leading to the toilets) and outdoor (shared tables in the courtyard), with an expectation on customers to return their dirty dishes through the giant hole in the wall.

Visited here for the first time since their move from Hunter St to Circular Quay and was pleasantly surprised by the creaminess and spiciness of the chicken laksa, which is more than enough to keep you nice and full. It's a popular place, although the line does shrink to a manageable size after 1pm. Highly recommend if you're after a good bowl of laksa in the northern part of Sydney CBD!
