Amazing, it was the best restaurant we tried in Stockholm. The bread was incredibly moist and tasted as if it had just come out of the oven. For starters, the Toast Skagen is their signature dish and an absolute must-try. For the main course, the meatballs were exceptionally tender, and the sauce was simply to die for. I loved the combination of flavors. The salmon was equally impressive, melting in your mouth with every bite. The apple crumble was good as well, although it wasn't particularly memorable compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, we absolutely loved this place. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food felt like a little piece of heaven. If I'm ever back in Stockholm, I'd stay nearby just so I could eat here every day. 100% recommended!

It’s a traditional Swedish restaurant known for it’s meatballs. Gives a very traditional old kinda feeling. Big sitting, not modern looking at all. Food is classic. Meatballs were amazing and so was the cauliflower soup, was so creamy and rich. We also ordered mushroom and potato dumplings, were nice. Overall a great authentic old rustic Swedish feeling

Considered one of the oldest restaurant in Stockholm specializing in Swedish food. The restaurant did not disappoint. The food was exceptional, especially their meatballs and the herring plate as well as braised ox cheeks great service, excellent atmosphere highly recommend.

We had a wonderful evening at Pelikan, where both the service and the atmosphere were a solid 5 stars. The historic, high-ceilinged dining room creates a fantastic vibe that feels uniquely Swedish. We started with the Bleak Roe, which was absolutely amazing and easily the highlight of the meal. However, the main course was a bit of a letdown. We all ordered the traditional meatballs, but found the texture felt more like a processed sausage than a classic meatball. Compared to the ones we had in Old Town, these just didn’t hit the mark. It’s a beautiful spot for a drink and appetizers, but the meatballs weren’t quite what we expected. We felt a bit pressured by the tipping prompts on the card machine and ended up leaving 15%, which we later realized is quite high for Sweden.

Traditional and authentic menu at the historical atmosphere. Located in Södermalm. Swedish meatballs and arctic char fish are recommended main dishes. Very helpful and child friendly service. Reservation is recommended especially for dinner. You might have a try for lunch.
