THE HYPE IS REAL! I was worried that this was going to be a touristy place with a big mark up and an ok offering… but it’s the opposite. The service is top notch, quick, efficient and super helpful. The food is brilliant, they do what they do, but they do it exceptionally well. The vibe is great, layout is fun, decor really good, beers and other drinks have a great offering, it’s all round a great night out. For American tourists I would suggest ordering larger portions as these are European portion sizes, for Europeans, I did 8 balls and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend booking within the morning booking window, or if you miss it like we did, 6:20pm there wasn’t a queue, but there was by 7pm. Top notch work, felt like local ownership and offer as much of Stockholm does. Go.. now.. why are you still here… go!
The food is definitely quite good, but it really is pricy for what you get. Staff are really friendly and nice. Would wanna come try the more unique meat options, but if you're on a tight budget I'd consider somewhere else
If you’re in Stockholm, definitely stop by this place as soon as you can because you’d want to come back for sure. No reservations. They do one thing and it’s excellent. As name suggests it’s all about meatballs, but you can choose type of protein you want. The reindeer, moose, bear, dock, chicken, traditional, anything you like. They also have a vegan option. Highly recommend. Also located around some cool shops and bars.
We ordered meatball classic and really liked the food. Surprisingly, the garlic bread was too good so we ordered additional. The best part of this restaurant is the meat options, there are 13 options + vegan meatball selection. We didn’t like the lamb, but like the beef and beef+pork one. Recommended to try this restaurant if you are looking for to try local food in Stockholm. The prices are high, recommend to check them before going.
Loved this! We got reindeer meatballs and traditional pork/beef meatballs. Mac and cheese was good as was the swedish traditional meal with mashed potatoes. Service was friendly and warm. Atmosphere was cute and homey. Would go here again.
