Great restaurant! We got there on a Thursday evening in January and we could have the last table next to the window. Loved the view, also in the dark, because you could see so far away. The waitress was friendly, helped with our choices and changed the vegetables on request. The food was REALLY good (we had the meatballs, schnitzel and duck leg) and it was more than enough. Also really fun mocktail was the first one, with cinnamon and vanilla, it was really like a desert!! :) Also not too expensive: 1000 SEK for three main courses and three mocktails. I think that’s okay for Stockholm and such a cool place! Only downside is that we could not bring our dogs :-( So a dog is not welcome.
Eric is the best bartender and has a flow and passion like any top-tier bartender. He has a creative genius and a personable intuition that is admirable. He has great knowledge of the drinks he’s making and faces challenges with confidence. A wizard concocting magic banking the counter with a cool and understated manner. Outstanding top-floor views of the city. A must stop for cocktails
The view is impressive and beautiful and the staff are nice and helpful. The food is not their strength. We ordered oyster as starter but was not fresh. Wallenbergare was in an ocean of olive oil and very salty. The Arctic was ok.
I was curious about this place given the mixed range of reviews. And it was just that: A mixed experience. You just come here for the great views, not for the food or the service. My recommendation: Don’t book a table for dinner, instead book it for a drink only. My dinner experience in detail: Three options that I requested form the already limited menu were not available (already a bad start) and service in general wasn’t good (slow and they give the impression they are not enjoying to serve you). We paid about 200k for a starter, 250k for a main course, 140k for a simple glass of wine (overpriced) and 165k for a cocktail.
This is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink or two while taking in the stunning scenery. Watching the sunset here was absolutely magical. I didn’t try the food, so I can’t comment on that. but I definitely enjoyed my beer. The music was low, and even though it was a bit crowded, there was a sense of calmness that made the whole experience really relaxing.
