I wasn't even meant to go here... I was on my way somewhere else to eat and I walked past this and the smell hit me. I immediately changed my plans to eat here and it was the best decision I made on this trip. The food was so well cooked and had amazing flavours. My waitress was also really good. I wanted a mocktail and didn't know what to get and just said surprise me with something.. the one she picked was really good, so kudos on that. The pasticada (venison stew with gnocchi) was immaculate. The meat was so well cooked. I had this at another place earlier in my trip and this blew the other one out the water. I also had the Wagyu steak and the rich/bold flavour. Perfectly cooked with great marbling. All in all the experience was great from start to end.

Came here for lunch alone and honestly wanted to try everything. The chef was incredibly kind and made the sug plate (a mix of bite size cold appetizers on the menu) dish as a single portion so I can try a little of everything, which is brilliant ! The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the texture and aroma of the truffle were outstanding. Everything was beautifully prepared, well seasoned, nicely presented and tasted great. Excellent food and great service.

We did the chef's choice 3 course menu with wine pairing at Sug, and it was very good. The wine pairing was fabulous, and the service attentive. However, the portions were enormous (and I can eat a lot!). It's was more like two mains than a main and a starter. If I returned, I would just do the normal menu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food is good. The sword fish is the best - very fresh and flavourful. Octopus is fresh. Shrimp pasta isn’t as impressive as what others mentioned. Smoked risotto is average. However, the service is really bad. The waiters are very inattentive and chatting among themselves. We needed to keep waiting for the menu and water at the beginning and when we wanted to order, even when we sat at the middle of the restaurant just facing them.

Worth the visit. Nice ambience, friendly staff, food came fast and hot. Fish soup and octupus salad as starters great, but the veal risotto and expecially the smoked risotto were super delicious! Beef noodles were also good, only the home special dessert was a bit underwhelming, but still nice. Irish Coffee was also very delightful.
