This restaurant is revelation. Hidden gem in the Split downtown. They use real extra virgin olive oil. On top of that service was excellent. As we arrived we were offered some kind of seafood pate and this extra virgin olive oil to have a bite as we were waiting. Fish soup has reasonable price and has a lot of pieces of real fish. It was delicious. I have ordered grilled squid and I was really happy with it. It is possible to choose what weight you will take. I have ordered a bit more as I was hungry but you can always take less and have even more affordable meal. Swiss chard was awesome. My companion ordered pasta with shrimps which was also awesome. Great taste. And as I mentioned before we had a great service. Recommendation. You can find this restaurant next to the old fish market.
Was recommended to eat here by my taxi, great atmosphere/decor, music was perfect. Food was also delicious and the stake was cooked exactly like I asked.
It was an excellent experience. Linda was our waitress. She helped us choose and was thoroughly attentive. One of the best waitresses we have ever met. The food was amazing. Would definitely return if ever we visit Split again.
Food: the chef is a master in balancing subtle flavors, it's remarkable how he's manipulating subtle flavors to end up with humble yet extremely characterful and balanced dishes. 5/5 Service: extremely attentive and polite, yet personal and approachable, a service level almost nowhere seen in Europe nowadays. 5/5 Atmosphere: the unassuming dinning hall features a lot of impressive art pieces, keeps you busy looking around in between different courses. 5/5
I visited this place in April of 2024 and till this day I still reminisce on my experience. I will go back to Split just so I can visit this restaurant again. Is it possible to fall in love with food? I fell in love with their sea food spaghetti, it was delicate, buttery and oh so flavourful. The service here was spectacular. A truly dreamy and indulgent dinner. Words fail me, this place has a special place in my heart and I cannot recommend it enough.
