Came here on a recommendation, pašticada meets the hype. Goulash also delicious and one of the most reasonably priced meals we've had in Croatia

Came recommended and...left disappointed. 35€ for a small sea bass (350g ish top) although we asked beforehand and waiter said it's usually 450/500g (pics attached). 20€ Black rissoto rice was small as well and hard (rice stuck in teeth constantly). Asked nicely for please making one that rice is not undercooked. They took it, hit it in the pan (I assume) and brought it back same but warmer. Never asked me how it was afterwards. House wine was nice.

While compared to the places around it, this restaurant doesn’t look amazing and may not have the same crowds… it’s not a reason to miss it. This was recommended to me by a Croatian food instructor and it did not disappoint - the food here feels authentic and homemade. I loved the Gulasch and the pasticada. If you are vegetarian though, this place might be a bit tricky since there aren’t that many interesting options.

We were recommended this spot by our Plitvice Lakes tour guide for pašticada, a traditional Dalmatian dish and it did not disappoint! The meat and njoki were incredibly tender and the mild sweet and sour sauce was delicious. We also ordered the small fried fish and veal cutlet. My husband asked about Croatian liquor and the server brought him a pour to try.

Aspects of the food were very good. The charcuterie board was good along with the veal chops. The rest was very average and lacking flavour. Maybe my palette is different to others, but I found it all quite expensive for the taste (not the portion size, which is VERY generous). The atmosphere was flat in comparison to other places. The veal chops were very good.
